POST 3: Related to my studies
Hello, again, today I will talk to you about my geography studies. Many times I
have asked what geography is, some people think it has to do with history and
others with making maps, but the truth is much more complex.
There are many branches of geography, but in essence geography is the study of the terrestrial surface, the societies that inhabit it and the territories that are formed when relate to each other. For example, there is environmental geography which is a good way to show how relates nature and human activities.
We as humans occupy the nature and we modify it, but we also depend on it to survive. Currently There are many socio-environmental conflicts because the capitalist system does not protect the Nature and the consequences are suffered by the most vulnerable societies and in this sense the geography makes great contributions from Environmental Justice.
Finally I would like to know your opinion on a very common question of geography environmental Do you believe that man is inside or outside of nature?

I believe that man is inside nature, because the human being needs it to live, it is very important to maintain a harmonious relationship with nature, the problem is when the system kills nature by superimposing economic interests.

ResponderBorrarI think the humanity will be outside of nature unless we manage to destroy the necesity of oveproduction to keep growing our capitalist economy. And this is a problem that a alone country and not even a regional alliance could face if isn't in world scale.
